Why Are You In Town?

There are many reasons other guests have decided to stay at Hillside Manor:

  1. They’re attending Eastern Michigan University’s Homecoming Weekend activities 
  2. They’re meeting halfway between Kalamazoo (or other western areas) and Detroit for a cooking dinner date
  3. They’re attending University of Michigan football games
  4. They’re attending Detroit Lions or Red Wings games
  5. They’re visiting family in either Ypsilanti or Ann Arbor (so. many. people.)
  6. They’re skiing at Mt. Brighton (30 minute drive)
  7. They need to be near U of M Health for an upcoming procedure
  8. They’re hosting a small wedding or baby shower (10-15 people) when wanting to stay out of restaurants during COVID
  9. They are en route traveling from one state to another and wanting a quiet, secluded resting place
  10. They’re hosting birthday, engagement, or holiday parties, and even a photoshoot!
  11. They’re meeting friends from multiple cities to celebrate a birthday weekend or bridal party before the day of the big event
  12. They’re working in or around the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area and need a place during the week
  13. They’re attending events at the Washtenaw Club Golf course
  14. They’re attending graduations at U of M or EMU
  15. They’re checking out festivals, or garage sales, or concerts in the area.
  16. They’re moving away or moving back to this area and either seeing family for the last time, or looking at houses to rent or buy.
  17. They’re hosting a “guy’s night” with beer, the grill, and the fire-pit.
  18. They’re hosting a “girl’s night” with drinks, cooking, and movies. 
  19. They’re a traveling nurse in town a few nights a week.
  20. They need space to play dueling video games, so they bring a second TV and set up a competition in the dining area.
