Thank you for choosing to stay at Hillside Manor for your trip! This is my home, but I purchased it from the beginning to be set up as a vacation rental.
The vacation rental is the upper two floors of the house, a cathedral-style living room, open kitchen and dining room, full bathroom, and three bedrooms.
I live on premises in the downstairs apartment, but am completely out of your way. However, I’m onsite to help you with anything you need, including getting a fire going in the outdoor fire pit, or recommending local restaurants and activities.
You will park on the driveway and enter through the front door in the photo above. There is a key pad for your safe entry.
Here are some of the things guests have loved most:
In their own words:
This place is so nice!!! It’s cozy, clean, has an excellent kitchen, comfy bed, positive vibes, and Natalie was so quick to respond and help. Highly recommend!!!! - Brett Sassetti, from Michigan, on Airbnb ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ll answer the questions I’m most frequently asked by guests.
Yes. Each room has at least two towels bath towels and four wash towels in it. There are extra towels in the hall closet. I also include a lot of toiletries:
Usually, yes. Most times, I have a few hours to prepare the property for the next guests. However, sometimes people requested an early check-in, so it may not always be possible, but it usually is.
Usually, yes. Most times, the property is ready for guests. Occasionally, there will be a late check-out and a request for an early check-in. I try to accommodate this as much as possible.
You will receive a personalized, temporary key code to use on the key pad. I use August Home for the lock, which is connected with Airbnb and VRBO. Either way, you’ll just need to remember your code.
You’ll also enter from the front. It can be confusing because you’ll park on the side, closer to my side entrance, but guests always enter through the front.
Hillside has a long driveway up a pretty steep hill. During most seasons, you’ll pull all the way up. The drive can easily fit two cars next to one another. If you have a 5-6 cars, you can all park on the driveway, as long as you coordinate who leaves when.
Street parking is also available and there is no curfew. In the winter, snow and ice can fall, making it difficult to get up the driveway. While I handle the snow removal, the timing doesn’t always align exactly with guests’ needs, so parking at the end of the driveway or on the street is a good idea.
There is absolutely no smoking in the house, cigarettes or marijuana. However, smoking outside is totally fine. In the winter months when it’s cold, you may use the tall, electric heater in the screened in porch to stay warm. There is also patio seating out back. (Please note the lightbulb on a string, which you can plug in!)
You can leave your dirty linens on the beds. You can leave your towels in the bathroom or on the floor of each bedroom. I’ve got you covered!
Yes, I have a smaller, charcoal Foreman grill that should be perfect for most guests.
As long as the weather cooperates, yes, you can! I have wood and fire starter material. Like any fire, it can be tricky to start. You’re welcome to ask me for help.

Clean and Cozy
The Hillside Manor was clean, well stocked, and very welcoming. Natalie was excellent, quick to respond and accommodating. The beds were super comfortable, some of the best beds we have slept in away from home. I loved having all the amenities available. Only 30 min drive from skiing- which was perfect for our trip! - Jessica Baker, from Indiana, on VRBO ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
